24TH ANNUAL NORTH BRANCH GOLF TOURNAMENT
North Branch School.
A captain's choice tournament played on the beautiful Stoney Creek Golf Course at Wintergreen in Nellysford. All proceeds from this tournament go to the scholarship and tuition assistance programs at North Branch School. BAND ON THE RUN 5K RACE
CHS Band and X-Country.
Calling all students, staff, families and community members to support and participate in the inaugural Band on the Run 5K Run/Walk. Beginning and ending at the CHS Curtis E. Elder track, the Band on the Run 5K will take runners and walkers of all ages on a 3.1-mile course through the Foxbrook and Greenbrier residential neighborhoods. Proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit the CHS Band and X-Country programs, which have partnered to launch the 5K and hope to make it a popular spring tradition. 3RD ANNUAL MSC TRUCK TOUCH
Montessori School of Charlottesville/ CharlottesvilleFamily.
This event provides children with the unique opportunity to explore vehicles of all types-public service, emergency, utility, construction, transportation, delivery and more-all in one place. Those young and those young at heart will have a chance to touch, climb on, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment. There will also be food trucks and other kid-friendly activities. Proceeds benefit the Montessori School of Charlottesville Scholarship Fund. CharlottesvilleFamily is a proud sponsor. UMS RESERVOIR 5K & KIDS RUN
This scenic out-and-back course travels down beautiful Reservoir Road. The mixed pavement, hard packed dirt course is hilly, but the serene setting makes for a low-stress, enjoyable run! The 5k is open to participants 12 and older. The kids' race is meant to be fun and manageable for children 11 and under. It is a half-mile out and back course on Reservoir Road. The 3rd Annual Scottsville Scoot will include a 5k run/walk and 1-mile kids' run/walk through historic Scottsville. Proceeds benefit Scottsville Elementary's PTO. Bring the family for some exercise and enjoy the Scottsville Farmer's Market and downtown Scottsville after the race.
