- 1½ cups white sugar Beaten with margarine or butter
- 1 cup butter or margarine Room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- ¼ cup butter or margarine Room temperature
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp cream or milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- food coloring
