CAMP HOLIDAY TRAILS
Camp Holiday Trails creates a community that empowers children and teens with medical needs to thrive.
We welcome our campers with medical needs age 6-17 AND their siblings to CHT for an overnight camp experience that is also supported by 24/7 medical care team. Our goal is to support camper families year-round while also providing fun camp activities, growth in friendships, confidence, empathy-building skills and more.
Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) is a year-round nonprofit camp in a natural setting at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia. CHT incorporated as a nonprofit in 1973 and since that time has provided over 10,000 kids with medical needs the opportunity to experience a positive camp experience.
We welcome Campers from across the United States with the majority coming from the Mid-Atlantic region.
We do not offer day camp programming- we are residential/overnight only at this time (1-2 week sessions)
HIGHLIGHTS
Cornerstone Programs: A traditional, overnight camp for children and adolescents ages 7-17 with medical needs.This provides our Campers the opportunity to simply be kids by scaling the rock wall, shooting a bullseye in archery or identify native plants on a nature hike.
