from CharlottesvilleFamily Magazine
Charlottesville, VA – November 29, 2024 – CharlottesvilleFamily Life & Home Magazine is delighted to announce Lilypads Housing as the first-ever recipient of the ‘Doing Good’ Marketing Grant, an initiative designed to support local nonprofits making a significant impact in the community. This honor is particularly meaningful as the winner was selected through votes cast by CharlottesvilleFamily readers, reflecting the community’s recognition of Lilypads Housing’s vital work.
Lilypads Housing, a Charlottesville-based nonprofit, provides free, short-term housing in volunteer host homes and donated apartments for out-of-town families receiving care for their children at UVA Children’s Hospital. Their commitment to serving families in need deeply resonated with our readers and exemplifies the spirit of the ‘Doing Good’ initiative.
“We are thrilled that Lilypads Housing has been chosen by our readers as the inaugural ‘Doing Good’ Marketing Grant recipient,” said Jennifer Bryerton, M.A.Ed., Publisher of CharlottesvilleFamily Magazine. “This community-driven selection highlights the profound impact Lilypads Housing has on families during critical moments, and we are honored to support their mission.”
